McMaster Graduate Student Milennium Award for Community Service

Dr. Megan Vierhout, a recent PhD graduate, has been awarded a 2023-2024 leadership award from the School of Graduate Studies called.

The McMaster Graduate Student Milennium Award for Community Service is awarded for outstanding contributions to the broader community by leading graduate student initiatives, and display excellence in leadership and generosity in initiatives to improve the community for other trainees. This is about the graduate community and acknowledging those amazing individuals who have helped to create a wonderful space for living and learning.

The main piece of Megan’s application for this award included her involvement in the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health Society of Trainees (FIRHst).
